Bucktown Booth

Bucktown Arts Fest Booth - 2011

In case you've never had a chance to visit me at an art fair, I thought I would post this recent photo of my 10'x10' booth space at the Bucktown Arts Fest in Chicago a couple of weeks ago.  The walls are carpet covered modular panels.  The super cool desk/podium was made by my friend, Matt, from some siding we took off an old barn.  It still has some nice old white paint on it.  I scored the two little red folding tables at Ikea years and years ago.  I don't think they carry them any more but I'm pretty sure you can buy this red stain from them!  It's an amazing red.  The next time I'm at Ikea I think I will buy a quart and just keep it on hand.  I'm sure I can find someplace to use it eventually.  The paintings on the side walls are my new acrylics - sorry they aren't too visible.  But you can glimpse the new owl and cuckoo clock linoleum block prints on the back right wall.  They are mounted on wood panels.  I love them!  The shelves to the left of the block prints display my mixed media wood houses.  You can see the owls, the cuckoo clocks and the houses in my Cornflower Press shop on Etsy.com.
